Lake Park Society is an innovative non-profit social enterprise that has been contracted by the Village of Cumberland for the operation of Cumberland Lake Park Campground since 2015. Lake Park Society operates like a business but invests all its profits back into our community.
Located on Comox Lake, this Village of Cumberland municipal park and campground offers swimming, paddle sport rentals, concession, boat launch, hiking trails, climbing crags, as well as low-cost programs and events. Learn more about local activities here.

Water Sports Rentals
Are you looking for a fun way to explore Comox Lake this Summer? Check out our wide selection of water sport rentals. We rent a variety of kayaks and SUPs (stand up paddle boards).
Lake Park Facilities
The park offers serviced and unserviced campsites, sleeping barrels, kayak and SUP rentals, coin-operated showers, a concession, a boat launch and picnic shelter rentals.

Lake Park Society operates like a business but invests all its profits back into our community. Among other things, the Society creates jobs for local youth, stewards the park and provides low-barrier outdoor experiences that celebrate nature, build community and inspire learning.
Getting Here
Only a couple minutes drive from the legendary Village of Cumberland in the Comox Valley. Just an hours’ drive from the Nanaimo ferry terminal, getting here from Vancouver is a scenic ferry trip and short drive.
