Lake Park is a Village of Cumberland municipal park located on the shores of the glacier-fed Comox Lake and offers sandy beaches, swimming, campsites, watersports rentals, community & school programs, concession, boat launch, hiking trails and climbing crags.
The Campground is located 5 km west of the Village of Cumberland, known for its legendary mountain biking, pubs, eateries and rich coal mining history. Learn more about the local area.

Water Sports Rentals
Are you looking for a fun way to explore Comox Lake this Summer? Check out our wide selection of water sport rentals. We rent a variety of kayaks and SUPs (stand up paddle boards).

Lake Park Facilities
Serviced and unserviced campsites, boat launch, public beach, coin-operated showers, concession, hiking trails, climbing crags and firewood & ice sales. A free sani-dump is located at the North end of Cumberland Village Park on Royston Road in the Village of Cumberland (6 km away).

From the laid back beach goer to the adrenaline seeker, there is something for everyone at Cumberland Lake Park Campground. The campground offers swimming and watersports rentals, beautiful hiking trails and a variety of rock climbing crags and bouldering rocks. Just 3 km down the road there is a disc golf course and access to Cumberland’s legendary singletrack, which offers epic mountain biking and endless hiking.

Only a couple minutes drive from the legendary Village of Cumberland in the Comox Valley. Just an hours’ drive from the Nanaimo ferry terminal, getting here from Vancouver is a scenic ferry trip and short drive.
