Our commitment to inclusion, respect and reconciliation is central to our values and to our impact. It’s important to find intentional ways to grow in our understanding and support of others. Our goal is to build an environment where everyone can participate fully and feel a sense of belonging. We are committed to acknowledging the impact of colonial policies and injustices, building positive relationships and working towards a more equitable and respectful future.
Our 2024 LPS AGM will take place on Tuesday June 11th at 7pm. Join us in person at The Abbey, 3273 First St in Cumberland. Everyone is welcome to attend but only members are eligible to vote. You can sign up for your free membership here. The AGM package is available here. The AGM will last around 30 minutes and will be followed by an informal social afterwards with snacks and beverages.
We are seeking new board members for 2025. If the idea of creating wonder and connection through outdoor experiences resonates with you, then we would love to hear from you! Only a couple minutes drive from the legendary Village of Cumberland in the Comox Valley. Just an hours’ drive from the Nanaimo ferry terminal, getting here from Vancouver is a scenic ferry trip and short drive.

From the laid back beach goer to the adrenaline seeker, there is something for everyone at Cumberland Lake Park Campground. The campground offers swimming and watersports rentals, beautiful hiking trails and a variety of rock climbing crags and bouldering rocks. Just 3 km down the road there is a disc golf course and access to Cumberland’s legendary singletrack, which offers epic mountain biking and endless hiking.
