Our Story
Lake Park Society is an innovative non-profit social enterprise that has been contracted by the Village of Cumberland for the operation of Cumberland Lake Park Campground since 2015. Lake Park Society operates like a business but invests all its profits back into our community. Among other things, the Society creates jobs for local youth, stewards the park and provides low-barrier outdoor experiences that celebrate nature, build community and inspire learning.
