Lake Park Society at Comox Lake

Lake Park Amenities

Cumberland Lake Park & Campground

Situated along the shores of Comox Lake, the park offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The main beach has a designated swim area, a floating swim dock, and a small nature playground. Rental sit-on-top kayaks or SUPs (stand up paddle boards) are available from the campground office. Nearby forest trails invite visitors to explore the natural beauty of the area.

In the summer months, the park comes alive with free live music and outdoor movie nights, creating a space for the community to gather. To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, dogs are not permitted on the beach from May through September. However, leashed dogs are welcome in all other areas of the park.

Boat Launch

The boat launch is open 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Boat launch passes must be purchased at the office before launching and be displayed as requested. Limited parking is available and a launch pass does not guarantee parking.

Users wishing to park overnight must park along the back wall of the day use parking lot (with trailer detached from vehicle). Parking is available on a first come, first served basis.

Parking is not permitted along the South side of Comox Lake road, in order to maintain two way traffic and to ensure emergency access.

Overnight or day dock moorage is prohibited.
