School Programs
We offer full-day outdoor education programs, inlcuding: Forest Friends, Water Keepers and Floating Classroom. All programs aim to promote environmental literacy, social and emotional growth through experiential learning and are designed with links to the BC Curriculum.
Summer Camps
Join our experienced camp leaders for one of our week-long camps in July and August. Come and connect with each other and the forest. We promise you will leave each day tired and inspired.
Community Watershed Canoe Tour
This guided tour explores past, present and emerging stories of the Comox Lake Watershed. Deepen your connection to this beautiful lake while paddling in a 29′ voyageur-style big canoe.
This program is suitable for families with young children (although children will be required to remain seated). Please pre-register for this program. We have a variety of adaptive and inclusive canoe equipment which can be selected for use during your booking such as a canoe transfer bench, universal supportive seat and adaptive paddles.
Big Canoe Charter
Book your own guided big canoe charter in our voyageur canoes. We would love to help your group get out on the water. Cost-recovery rates are available for non-profit groups. We have a variety of adaptive and inclusive canoe equipment which can be selected for use during your booking such as a canoe transfer bench, universal supportive seat and adaptive paddles.

Movie Nights
Free family friendly movie nights on Saturday nights at 7:00 PM, from July 4th to August 22nd. Bring a blanket or chair and make yourself comfortable. No registration is required.

Arts in the Park: Concert Series
Live music will be playing every Friday night at the main beach in July and August, starting at 7 PM. There will also be an ‘activity and arts zone’ for kids and adults alike. Bring a blanket or chair, grab some dinner from the concession (closes at 8 PM for music nights in 2026) and take in the show while the sun sets on the lake.

Pop Up in The Park
Our free nature-based booth for kids and families aims to create meaningful connections between young people and their natural environment. The program fosters the next generation of stewards through art, play, education and observation.
Drop-in booth between 6:00 to 8:30 PM on Friday and Saturday evenings (July 5th to Aug 23rd) at the main beach picnic shelter. No registration required. Suitable for all ages.
