School Programs at Comox Lake

School Programs

We offer full-day outdoor education programs, with two options: “Forest Friends” and “Water Keepers”. Both programs aim to promote environmental literacy, social and emotional growth through experiential learning. They are designed with links to the BC Curriculum for Grades 3 in Science and Social Science.

Summer Camps

Join our experienced camp leaders for one of our week-long camps in July and August. Come and connect with each other and the forest. We promise you will leave each day tired and inspired.

Community Watershed Canoe Tour

This guided tour explores past, present and emerging stories of the Comox Lake Watershed. Deepen your connection to this beautiful lake while paddling in a 29′ voyageur-style big canoe.

This program is suitable for families with young children (although children will be required to remain seated). Please pre-register for this program.

Big Canoe Charter

Book your own guided big canoe charter. We would love to help your group get out on the water. Subsidized rates are available for non-profit groups.

More detailed information is available here.

Arts in the Park: Concert Series

Live music will be playing every Friday night at the main beach in July and August, starting at 7 PM. There will also be an ‘activity and arts zone’ for kids and adults alike. Bring a blanket or chair, grab some dinner from the concession (closes at 8 PM for music nights in 2025) and take in the show while the sun sets on the lake.
